Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to win 4 gold medals. She also claimed the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone's interest in gymnastics began when she was just six years old after a visit with her day-care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's guidance until 2011. Biles won a gold in floor exercises and also a bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Biles was a dominant athlete less than two year later. Biles stood out for her consistent, having an exuberant energy and joyful personality. She also integrated the most difficult of exercises in all of her competitions - vault uneven floor workouts.
