Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986 in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010, when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream, and an aptitude for writing emotional songs with uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of modern mainstream pop and arty independent music. Polydor Records offered her a deal as major label.
